Founded in the fall semester of 2005, the CSQ plays a wide variety of saxophone quartet repertoire. Included in their program are representative pieces of the Baroque, Romantic, and Contemporary eras and will feature the composers Bach, Dubois, Del Borgo, and Hirsh.

Members of the group include Ian Cruz, a sophomore performance and education major from Succasunna, New Jersey on soprano saxophone; Gabe Fadale, a sophomore performance and music education major from Homer, New York on alto saxophone; Ryan Salisbury, a performance and music education major from Johnstown, New York on tenor saxophone; and Steve Mathews, a junior music education major from Reading, Pennsylvania on baritone saxophone.

The members of the quartet and staff of the Center for the Arts invite music lovers of all ages to come to this free concert on Sunday, April 22nd at 1:00 PM. It will be a great concert, guaranteed!

Aside from music, Ian was a member of the National Honors Society, participated as a councilor at Aldersgate Camp, and is an Eagle Scout.

Alto saxophonist Gabe Fadale is a sophomore music education and performance double major from Homer, New York. At Ithaca College, Gabe is the principal alto saxophone player in the Symphonic Band. Tenor saxophonist Ryan Salisbury is a sophomore music performance and education major. Ryan is a well rounded individual who enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors and music. An avid student and supporter involvement on campus, Ryan is involved with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a national male music fraternity, Secretary for the Do Anything Nice Club, and is on the Board of Directors for the Do Anything Nice International Organization.
